Thank you for your well wishes yesterday.  They are & were very meaningful to me!  My really dear friend Lindsey introduced me to the Intel Visual Life series through this video, called, "The Expressionist" about designer Michael Wolff.  It was beautiful and wonderful and inspiring. When my friend Lindsey (yes, the one who makes the amazing cards) was in town at the tail end of March we went to the Art Institute and these are some photos of my favorite pieces...

I find that I am usually most inspired by color and texture when I am looking at other art.

So, Dan and I received the most amazing handmade card from Lindsey after her last visit and I wanted you to see how beautiful it is!  She always makes the greatest cards but this one...this one is REAL good!

I have liked marimekko for quite some time now.
  
So much so that, after my first year of fashion design courses I made a top out of a marimekko placemat from Anthropologie (since I can't afford the pre-made stuff!)
