oh my...my new favorite COOKIE recipe!

I once had a favorite cookie called the "big oreo cookie".  Unfortunately, I no longer live in NYC, so my favorite cookie has not been accessible!  Well...we have a remedy and a "new" favorite, the HOMEMADE OREO.

Now, these do require a bit more time since you're mixing and adding the filling, but they sure are delicious.

One more thing-I found that a pastry bag is not necessary.  I'm sure it helps but I just scooped a teaspoon-sized portion out and smeared it in the middle, and it worked just fine!
